In Memory Of Our Sweet, Beloved Jack

Jack, also known as our Jack-e-boy was the first of all the pets. I (Lacy) had him before I was ever married and even before I had kids. He was my baby before I had any babies. He was born on Christmas Day 2004 and came to me shortly after. As you can see, my children grew up with him...they never knew life without him. He was the only pet up until Jill came when he was about 10 years old (2014). Around the same time,  he was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, we were told there really wasn't much we could do. Thankfully, it was a very slow-progressing cancer and he made it another 4 years before we had to say goodbye, which truly was one of the worst and hardest days ever. 

Since Christmas was his birthday, we always did it big for him for Christmas. He actually learned quickly what his stocking meant - goodies! He loved Christmas morning, and we loved Christmas morning with him. He was so loving and so tender, especially with the girls. He was most certainly a Momma's boy. Outside of Christmas, he loved snuggles, loved chasing and eating/popping bubbles and lost his mind over a good laser light. Jack loved the rain and loved the snow. He always looked after his girls and went through some of our hardest times right by our side. He crossed the rainbow bridge September 6, 2018...about 4 months before his 15th birthday. Despite it all, he did live a long life, full of so much love. He loved us always. We loved him back and always will. We miss him every day. So, here's to keeping his memory alive. He was truly the best dog I've ever known. Thankful for our time with our boy. <3
